    How to use it

    1. Press Choose a file or drop one PDF. Every page appears as a numbered thumbnail.
    2. Drag a thumbnail to a new place with the mouse, or use the ← and → buttons under it to move it one place earlier or later.
    3. Turn pages with ⟲ and ⟳, and remove a page with ✕ (press ↺ to keep it after all). Rotate all and Reverse order change every page at once.
    4. Check the count next to the buttons, such as "11 of 12 pages kept", then press Save the new PDF and Download.

    What each button does

Each thumbnail is labelled with its original page number. Once a page has moved, the label also shows its new place, for example "Page 7 → 2", so you can always tell where a page came from.

    ButtonWhat it does
← and →Moves the page one place earlier or later
⟲ and ⟳Turns the page a quarter turn to the left (anticlockwise) or right (clockwise)
✕Marks the page to be left out of the new PDF
    ↺Brings a removed page back
Rotate allTurns every page a quarter turn clockwise. Press it twice for a stack that is upside down
Reverse orderPuts the last page first, for example after a stack was scanned back to front

On phones and tablets, the ← and → buttons are the easiest way to move pages.

    Fixing sideways and upside-down scans

Scans often come out sideways when the paper went into the scanner the wrong way round, or upside down when a stack was flipped. Turn those pages with ⟲ or ⟳ until the thumbnail reads normally.

In a PDF, a page's rotation is a setting rather than a change to its content. The PDF standard (ISO 32000) defines it as the number of degrees the page is turned clockwise when it is displayed or printed, and it must be a multiple of 90. Because only that setting changes, rotating never blurs anything, and text stays selectable.

The same rule means a page that is slightly crooked, say a few degrees off, can't be straightened here. That needs a new scan with the paper lying straight.

    Your original stays untouched

Nothing is written into the file you opened. Save the new PDF builds a fresh copy, named after the original with "-organized" added: contract.pdf becomes contract-organized.pdf. If you want another version, change the thumbnails and save again; each save starts from the original pages.

Open the new file and check it before you delete the old one. Everything happens in your browser, so the PDF is never uploaded.

    Typical jobs

A few things people often fix with this tool:

    • Remove the blank backs a double-sided scanner added between one-sided sheets.
    • Move a signed page or an appendix to where it belongs.
    • Put a cover page first after combining files with Merge PDF.
    • Take out pages with details you don't want to send, before you share a document.
    • Flip a whole stack that was scanned in reverse order with one click.

To save some pages as separate files instead of one reordered PDF, use Split PDF.

    What the new file keeps

The pages you keep are copied as they are: text, pictures, highlights, comments and web links, at the same quality. As with any tool that builds a new PDF from pages, bookmarks from the original aren't carried over, fillable form fields can no longer be filled in, and a digital signature will no longer be valid.

Long documents work too. Thumbnails are drawn one after another, so you can start moving pages while the rest are still loading.

    Questions

    Can I undo a delete?
Yes, until you save. A removed page stays in the grid, marked as removed; press ↺ on it to keep it again.
How do I turn a page upside down?
Press ⟳ (or ⟲) twice. Two quarter turns make a half turn.
Does rotating or reordering lower the quality?
No. Pages are copied without being redrawn, and rotation only changes the page's turn setting.
Why is the save button greyed out?
Every page is marked as removed, and a PDF needs at least one page. Press ↺ on the pages you want to keep.
Can I organize pages from several PDFs together?
Combine them first with Merge PDF, then open the merged file here to arrange the pages.
    Can I organize a password-protected PDF?
No. Remove the password in the app that made the PDF, save a copy, and open that copy here.
